Today, on February 14, an artistic and literary evening called “Kingdom and Poetry Happiness” was held in connection with the 541st anniversary of the birth of the king and poet, the great general Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur in the student hostel of Andijan State Medical Institute.
The event was attended by Kungirotboy Sharipov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and rectors of higher educational institutions of the province. The guests were solemnly welcomed, “Andijan Polka” dance was performed by skilled students.
Then an exhibition of creative and scientific innovations and achievements of young scientists and inventive students of the Institute was presented. Master classes on the procedures of providing emergency medical assistance to the patient has been held with the help of medical equipment.
The event was opened by M. Madazimov, the rector of the Institute. At the opening ceremony the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov emphasized the importance of Z.M. Babur’s spiritual legacy and passing it on to future generations.
In the artistic part of this event the image of Z.M. Babur was personalized, and his ghazals and rubai were performed. Babur’s ghazals were sung in the style of a song by singers and musicians of regional status.
Foreign students of the institute skillfully performed the works of the poet.
