On April 28-29 of this year, the II International Olympiad on Anatomy and Histology, “Morphology Festival,” was held at Andijan State Medical Institute in honor of the institute’s 70th anniversary.
A total of 10 teams composed of students from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and medical higher education institutions in our country participated in the Olympiad.
Over the course of two days, the teams tested their theoretical and practical knowledge and demonstrated their skills. They were evaluated by a panel of 14 leading morphologists from foreign countries.
Today, on April 29, the awarding ceremony for this Olympiad took place. During the event, the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, warmly congratulated all participants.
“Dear youth, your participation as a team in this Olympiad is already a great achievement. This has been a broad testing ground for you to assess your capabilities. The important thing is confidence, knowledge, and action, and you have embarked on this path. Therefore, I congratulate you all. Regardless of today’s results, I wish you success in conquering even greater heights in the future,” said the rector.
After that, diplomas and commemorative gifts were presented to the winning teams.
According to the results:
1st place was awarded to three teams: international students from Andijan State Medical Institute, Dagestan State Medical University, and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Additionally:
The “Best Work with Anatomical Preparations” nomination went to Central Asian Medical University;
The “Best Visiting Card” nomination was awarded to Andijan State Medical Institute;
The “Best Surgical Knot Technique” nomination went to Tashkent Pediatric University;
The “Best Theoretical Preparation” nomination was awarded to Western Kazakhstan State Medical University;
The “Highest Level of Theory and Practice Integration” nomination went to the Tashkent Medical Academy Termez branch;
The “Best Histological Diagnosis” nomination was awarded to Osh State University;
The “Golden Time” nomination went to the team from Dagestan State Medical University.
