The Khanabad town, which is distinguished by its beautiful nature, not for nothing called the “Switzerland of Uzbekistan”. On May 6, 2019 in Khanabad, the traditional Festival of Youth named “The Charm of Khanabad – 2019” was organized, and “Doppi sayli” was also included in the ceremony.
This morning, hundreds of our our compatriots, including professors and teachers of ASMI, students, attended the festival. At the entrance to the town along the street of Khanabad, the representatives of the regional khakimiyat, heads of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, students and pupils started a public walk, wearing national costumes and skullcaps.
There was joy and happiness in the faces of young fellow countrymen and young people, who were inspired by the youth, beauty and enthusiasm. Enthusiastic and joyful walk of the students, pupils, tutors and teachers have made a great impression on Khanabad residents and guests.
The festival was attended by the rector of ASMI M.Madazimov, pro-rector on educational work A.Arzikulov, pro-rector on work with youth P.Askhanov, deans of all faculties, professors and teachers.
Celebrity dances and music in the stage of the center of Khanabad have brought the mood of holiday to the participants. The khakim of Khanabad town M.Mamadaliev opened the festival and invited everyone to the traditional festivity. He presented souvenirs to the guests.
Within the framework of the festival there were presented samples of national crafts, exhibitions of practical works, as well as works on the five important initiatives put forward by our President.
The book exhibition “New Publications”, “The Wisdom of Physician Teachers”, presented by the staff of Information Resource Center, the national costumes exhibitions organized by the Women’s Committee of the Institute have been of great interest for all participants.
People’s Artist of Uzbekistan T.Beknazarov, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan O.Gozieva, pro-rector of the University of Uzbek Language and Literature A.Sobirov and other guests came to the festival and talked with their compatriots and expressed their best wishes.
At the end of the festival, the guests visited the sacred place “Fazilman ota” and enjoyed a cup of tea.
