The Institute branch of the “Innovative Ideas Week “InnoWeek.Uz-2024” fair was held in Andijan State Medical Institute on June 22nd.
The event was opened by the Institute’s rector, M. Madazimov, who spoke about the importance of innovations and inventions created as a result of today’s youth research, emphasizing their significant contribution to the advancement of science and innovation as well as the importance of creating convenience for the public and providing high-quality medical services. All participants were congratulated during the selection process.
Additionally, F. Qodirov, an advisor from the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science and Innovatio and the deputy director of the Innovation Development Agency, reported his congratulations online, emphasizing the critical importance of innovative projects in the field of medicine.
During the opening ceremony J. Xolmatjonov, chief specialist of the Regional Innovation Development Department of Andijan region under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science and Innovation, also expressed his congratulations and best wishes to all participants, highlighting the Institute’s readiness to support the best innovative ideas and projects.
K. Salohiddinov, the vice-rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations at the Institute, also recognized the achievements and innovations in scientific and innovative areas that young people are implementing today.
A total of 60 projects were presented at this fair. Under the leadership of the Institute’s rector, a jury consisting of leading scientists reviewed the projects participated in the competition and identified the winners.
According to their assessment:
🥇 First place was awarded to the project “Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Treatment of Synovial Cyst of the Popliteal Fossa” by the team of the Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery Department.
🥈 Second place went to the project “Development of New Innovative Technologies in Thyroid Surgery” by the team of the General Surgery and Transplantology Department.
🥉 Third place was awarded to the project “Organization and Application Methods of Pneumonia Treating in Preventive Medical Institutions” by the team of the Department of Pediatric Diseases Propaedeutics and Polyclinic Pediatrics.
Additionally, in the “Innovative Woman” nomination, the project “Optimization of Work of Patronage Midwives in Protecting the Health of Pregnant Women in the Primary Health Care System” by the Department of Social Hygiene and Health Care Management was recognized as the winner.
The winners were honored with monetary awards by the Iinstitute’s management and received guidelines for participation in the next stage of the “Innovative Ideas Week “InnoWeek.Uz-2024” fair.
