The memory of good people never fades. The noble deeds they performed will always be cherished and remembered by future generations.
Currently, events are taking place to commemorate May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor. Among these, a program titled “The Dignity of a Person is Great, Their Memory is Sacred” was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute.
The event was opened by S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, who conveyed the greetings of the institute’s rector, M. Madazimov. He provided information about the fiery years of World War II, the hardships faced on and off the front lines, the struggles for peace, and the bravery of courageous individuals.
Following this, esteemed teachers shared their thoughts with students about the value of the medical profession, the importance of a peaceful life, and the opportunities currently being created for youth in our country. The institute’s Trade Union presented holiday gifts to the esteemed teachers.
During the event, talented students skillfully performed scenes from wartime, and songs dedicated to the homeland were sung.
