In pursuance of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-103 dated January 26, 2022 “On measures to improve the quality of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases”, as well as Resolution No. 713 dated November 26, 2021 “On measures to radically improve the activities of the Andijan State Medical Institute and its clinic” and in order to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the “First Medical Week and Forum Uzbekistan-USA”, held on September 6-9, 2023, in order to study the experience of leading foreign medical centers and integrate it into the clinic of the institute, currently the management of Andijan State Medical Institute and a team of cardiac surgeons are on a business trip to the United States of America.
On August 12, 2024 the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Dean of the International Faculty held a meeting with the head of the Cleveland Clinic Neurology Center, Professor Shazam Hussein.
A presentation of innovative technologies of the Cleveland Clinic in the field of neurology and neurosurgery was shown at the meeting. The presentation provided information on surgical treatment of epilepsy, new methods of stroke prevention, new and modern methods of treating cerebrovascular diseases.
