Today, on November 26, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, met with the 5th-year students of the Faculty of Medicine.
The meeting was also attended by the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, S. Salohiddinov, along with the students.
During the meeting, the rector emphasized that today in our country, wide opportunities are being created for young people to showcase their talents and abilities, and that students can achieve success through studying and learning. He spoke about the importance of students adhering to moral and ethical standards, maintaining a proper dress code, and using social media responsibly.
Additionally, during the conversation, he highlighted that every student should have a personal electronic library, and that the institute’s information resource center provides all necessary conditions for this. He also pointed out the effective use of information technologies in classes, the importance of mastering foreign languages, and mentioned that Russian and English language clubs have been established at the institute. Students who present their lectures and presentations in foreign languages during classes will be rewarded with additional points.
– Today’s knowledge will serve as the foundation for your future. To become a good specialist, you need to start taking action from today. As you know, practical work has been initiated to provide employment for graduating students, and currently, our final-year students are being placed in vacant positions in their areas of residence, where they are working as family doctors. This allows them to enrich their theoretical knowledge gained through the dual education system with practical experience. I can confidently say that such practical initiatives will continue in the future, and you will also gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills next year, – said the rector of the institute.
At the end of the conversation, students were provided with information on how to conveniently fulfill their payment contracts. Additionally, in light of the cold and snowy days, guidance was given on adhering to traffic rules and ensuring electrical safety in student dormitories and rental accommodations. Furthermore, the suggestions and opinions of the youth were discussed, and tasks were assigned to responsible individuals regarding their implementation.
