As we previously reported, M. Madazimov, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, went to Agra on April 13 and visited the Agra branch of the largest Indian clinic network “Apollo”.
He got acquainted with the conditions in this clinic, the types of operations performed here, and modern medical equipment. In addition, he studied the strategy of the clinic in the development of medical tourism. Then our rector used the chance to meet with Dr. Sudiv Dakra, chief physician of Apollo Clinic and former president of Agra Physicians’ Association as well as with Dr. O.P. Yadav, the president of Agra Physicians’ Association.

After that, the rector of the institute attended the meeting of the Association of Doctors of Agra, where he delivered a report about medical education and reforms in medicine in Uzbekistan as well as the work being done in this regard within the framework of cooperation with the Indian state, educational tourism, training of specialists and exchange of experience.
