Today, on September 25, “Poetry Night” was conducted in connection with October 1 – Teacher and Mentor Day in the students’ residence of Andijan State Medical Institute in order to help professors, teachers and students spend their free time in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
It was attended by professors, teachers and students, the chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan M. Artikova, journalist E. Rakhmonova, member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan V. Ahmad.
The event was opened by S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs of the Institute, who sincerely congratulated all teachers on the upcoming October 1 – Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day.
At the beginning of the “Poetry Night” singer of Andijan regional branch of Uzbek national status art center M. Mahmudov performed a “heartfelt song”.
The participants of the event performed poems and songs glorifying true human qualities, wellness, humanity, love and loyalty.
Foreign students also actively participated in the concert program with songs and dances.
