The word “donor” is translated from Latin and means “to give a gift”, because by donating blood a donor can save another person’s life and give him a new chance.
Today, on May 31, “Adolat” social democratic party of Uzbekistan Andijan Regional Council announced a donation campaign which was held under the slogan “The Child’s Life Matter!” Faculties’ deans’ assistants, tutors and students of Andijan State Medical Institute took an active part in it.
More than 50 team members and students of our Institute participated in the action held in Andijan regional blood transfusion center. They took part in this action and contributed to avoiding the suffering of many children by donating blood.
