Today, on March 14, a scientific practical conference “Diseases of the organs of vision and hearing in children born with Down syndrome” has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of foreign experts.
M. Madazimov, the rector of the Institute, Niki Hafezi, the founder of the “Lite for side” foundation in Switzerland, the head of the MESCA Foundation-National Eye Institute in Tashkent, Ph.D. Nargiza Karimova, the head of “Magic ear academy”, industrial experts and students participated at the conference.
The conference was opened by the rector of the Institute with an introduction speech and stated that it is very important for children with Down’s syndrome to be examined and receive timely treatment, that they are ready to train specialists in this field and work in cooperation with them.
During the conference experts gave detailed information on Down’s syndrome. The importance of early diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases was mentioned in “sunny children” born with this syndrome. Also, detailed information was given about inventions and innovations implemented by scientists in this field.
Professor Farhad Hafezi, chief physician of ELZA Institute of Switzerland, participated in the conference with online lecture and shared the positive results of his scientific research and information about a useful device that facilitates the operation process.
At the end of the conference active participants were awarded with certificates.
