A number of events are being held in Andijan State Medical Institute within the framework of “5 important initiatives” put forward by the President. This, of course, not only makes students interested in sports, art and reading, but also encourages them to actively move towards spiritual maturity and a specific goal.
Today, the institute held a book fair on the fourth initiative – raising the morale of young people and widely promoting reading among them.
The event was opened by S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual-educational affairs who spoke about the importance of reading books in human life.
He said that the book is the best friend, the knowledge and lessons it gives are the main motivation for people’s spiritual growth. After that the students participated in the book fair and chose the ones they liked from the national and world literature, artistic and scientific books.
