A MEETING HELD IN THE PAXTAOBOD DISTRICT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROGRAM “FROM POVERTY TO PROSPERITY”

As you know, the Republic working group is conducting studies on the work carried out in Andijan region. In this regard, 16 neighborhoods have been assigned to M. Madazimov, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, in Sector 4 of the Paxtaobod district.

Today, a meeting was held at the vocational school in the district with citizens in need of social protection, unemployed individuals, and returnees from migration within the framework of the program “From Poverty to Prosperity”. The meeting was attended by Umirzok Rakhmatov, a responsible employee of the “Nuroniy” foundation supporting the social activities of Uzbekistan’s veterans, Foziljon Farhodov, deputy head of the working group from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as M. Madazimov and officials from Andijan State Medical Institute.

During the meeting, information was provided to citizens about the reforms being implemented in our country to reduce poverty, opportunities created for self-employment and entrepreneurship, assistance for low-income families facing health issues, and details about free medical examinations and surgical procedures being organized. The problems of the population were also studied and addressed on-site.

In particular, Dilshoda Saydullaeva, a resident of house 146 in Tojmahal Street in the “Yangichek” neighborhood, who graduated from a medical technical school and is currently unemployed, applied for assistance. She was employed in the “MK Med” clinic in Andijan city. Mohinur Hamidova, a resident of house 53 in Kirgol Street in the “Ziyoli” neighborhood, who graduated from the Law Faculty of Andijan State University and is currently unemployed, also applied for help. She was employed at Andijan State Medical Institute in her area as well. Shohida Madaminova, a resident of house 34 in Ifor Street in the “Chorsu” neighborhood, was found to need surgical intervention, which will be performed soon by qualified specialists from the institute.
