On December 20, a meeting was held with the residents of the “Binokor” neighborhood in Andijan city, led by the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, following the directives set forth by President Sh. Mirziyoyev during a video selector meeting focused on “Ensuring Employment, Increasing Income, and Overcoming Poverty in Local Communities.”
Andijan State Medical Institute has been assigned to work with the residents of 12 multi-apartment buildings located in the “Binokor” neighborhood, and the responsible officials have been continuously studying their living conditions and issues.
During the meeting, discussions were held on pressing matters such as ensuring employment for the population, promoting entrepreneurship, and increasing incomes. Residents who are capable of working, express a desire to work, or wish to start their own businesses were provided information about available job openings and vocational training.
At the end of the meeting, individual conversations were conducted with the residents, where important suggestions were made regarding how to escape poverty and utilize preferential loans to start entrepreneurial activities. The residents’ inquiries regarding access to medical services, natural gas issues, and participation of applicants in subject clubs were thoroughly addressed, along with recommendations for resolving these issues.
