HISTORY OF THE CAREER CENTER DEPARTMENT
In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 23, 2021 No. 314, as well as in the letter No. 2/10 – 44 dated August 19, 2021, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute No. 258-T dated August 20, 2021 “Career Center” was established.
The Charter of the activities of the Career Center of Andijan State Medical Institute the obligations of employees of the department and main documents were compiled and approved by the rector of the Institute.
The “Career Center” provides ASMI students, especially graduates, with information about vacancies that are currently available and that the labor market demands. It also made it the main task to keep students informed with the knowledge, skills and qualifications required for these vacancies.
In this service while choosing a future profession for students, advices will be given that will help in the process of conversation and increase the time management. In addition, a set of tests will be included for students, which will determine their attitude to work and how they work. In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 6 of the “Road map” on measures to ensure the employment of students of higher education institutions approved by Note 3 of the video-selector meeting No. 19 on March 4, 2022, the center of the “Co-working Offices” was established in order to ensure that the rector of the Institute operates as part of the “Career Center” on April 25, 2022.

Activites of the Career Centr Department
According to the annual Work Plan of the Department on employment of students in their free time the general balance of students studying at the Institute is drawn up by the staff of the “Career Center” Department, regular meetings are held at the Institute with students of different faculties and directions on the basis of plan by the head of the Andijan region, a list of students who expressed a desire to work without interrupting their studies is formed, a list of students working in each faculty, direction and course section of the Institute is formed, and Regional Directorate General of employment and urban employment assistance centers of Andijan are organized in partnership with urban organizations, available vacancies in the medical associations of the city and district (vacancy) are identified every month and information is provided to the Institute website and students are informed with permanent vacancies.
