It is known that on February 24 of this year, an open dialogue between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and youth was held. This meeting was dedicated to supporting youth initiatives and creating additional opportunities for them. During the dialogue, the conditions being created for young people, the development of their talents and potential, the support system, as well as the achievements over the past years and the shortcomings were thoroughly analyzed. At the same time, priority tasks and concrete plans for the coming years were outlined.
As part of these plans, it was announced that from this year, the implementation of the “Entrepreneur of the Future” program will be launched. On March 27, an offline and online meeting dedicated to this program was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute, attended by graduating students from all higher education institutions in the region. The event was attended by T. Abduazov, Director of the “Entrepreneur of the Future” Department, O. Tokhtasinov, Head of the Andijan branch of National Bank, and M. Madazimov, Rector of the institute.

At the beginning of the meeting, specialists provided detailed information about the essence and opportunities of the “Entrepreneur of the Future” program. It was emphasized that within the framework of this program, preferential loans with an interest rate of 15% for up to 7 years will be allocated to support young entrepreneurs. Specifically:
– Self-employed youth can receive up to 20 million soums without collateral;
– Those who have entrepreneurial skills and are starting their own business can receive up to 300 million soums;
– Young entrepreneurs expanding their activities can receive up to 2 billion soums;
– Entrepreneurs who provide employment for at least five graduates can receive up to 10 billion soums.
In addition, it is planned to implement the program “My First Profession” in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations. Within this program, an internship-based competition will be held among graduates of higher education institutions, and winners will be awarded scholarships of up to 2 million soums per month.

During the dialogue, young people were given detailed explanations about the tasks set by the Head of State, mechanisms for their implementation, graduate employment, and preferential loans allocated under the programs “Step to the Future” and “Entrepreneur of the Future”. It was also emphasized that through these opportunities, students can implement their startup and business projects.

Examples were given of young people who have already established their own businesses and created numerous jobs under the project “Step to the Future”, achieving high incomes. This served as a great motivation for the youth.
At the end of the event, students interested in the programs and wishing to start their own businesses shared their plans with officials and received necessary recommendations and guidance. Additionally, vouchers were presented to three students who received preferential loans under the “Step to the Future” program and started their businesses, by Andijan branch of the National Bank.
