
As we know, during the video conference held on February 14, 2025 under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, some measures to further improve the effectiveness of work with youth were discussed. In accordance with the item 7 of the Action Plan developed by the Governor of Andijan region to implement the tasks assigned during the meeting, cooperation agreements have been signed between higher education institutions in Andijan and “O‘zmilliybank” AS’s “Step into the Future” Center.
In this regard, several initiatives have being carried out in Andijan State Medical Institute to support graduating students in gaining the employment and becoming self-employed, through the establishment of regional branches of the “Step into the Future” Center in higher education institutions across the Republic.
Today, on April 24, an open dialogue has been held within the framework of the “Step into the Future” project. The event was attended by M. Madazimov, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute; M. Khasanov, deputy head of the Main Department of “O‘zmilliybank” JSC; Z. Dadajonov, Head of the Department for Financing State Programs; Sh. Abdusamatov, head of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan in Andijan region; A. Soliyev, head of the Career Center of Andijan State Medical Institute as well as faculty deans and graduating students.
The rector, M. Madazimov, opened the event by highlighting the wide range of opportunities provided to young people in our country across all sectors, including privileges and financial support mechanisms for graduates, efforts to ensure youth employment and support for their entrepreneurial initiatives.
Following this, specialists from the main department of “O‘zmilliybank” AS provided detailed information about the “Step into the Future” project. They discussed efforts aimed at ensuring graduate employment, promoting self-employment, helping young people integrate into the labor market, and supporting startup projects and business initiatives.
During the open dialogue, students shared their suggestions and opinions regarding startup projects and entrepreneurship development. Their questions were answered in details. Based on their proposals, discussions were held on supporting new business initiatives, establishing effective cooperation and organization of special programs for youth.
