In the academic lyceum of Andijan State Medical Institute, a conversation was organized on the topic “In the new academic year without corruption!”. It was attended by the head of the anti-corruption department, the chief auditor, and employees of the academic lyceum.
At first, a video was shown on the topic “Corruption and its consequences”. In addition the specialists familiarized the staff of the institute and this institution with corruption, its origin, preventive measures, reasons, concepts of “mediator”, “giving a bribe”, “receiving a bribe” and bringing persons to justice.
They also informed the participants of the event by the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to ensure the openness of the activities of state organizations and bodies, as well as the effective implementation of public control”, “On measures to create an irreconcilable attitude towards corruption, reduce corruption factors in state and public administration and expand public participation in it ”,“ On additional measures to ensure transparency of government purchases and increase their efficiency ”,“ On further support for gifted youth admitted to republican universities ”.
The employees were also familiarized with the decree “On measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities”, the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approval of the regulation on the procedure for organizing educational activities on the basis of joint educational programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign partner organizations”.
