With the aim of implementation of the Decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from May 5, 2017, PQ-2956 “On the Further Development of the System of Medical Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan” and “On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher education institutions and ensure active participation in the wide-ranging reforms in the country ” dated from June 5, 2018 PQ-3775 from 2018-2019 academic year Testing Training of Medical Engineers for the Health Ministry is to be organized on the basis of inter-institutional experimental Master’s program on medical engineering, developed in collaboration of ASMI and the Institute of Machine Building of Andijan.
This program is intended for the graduates with basic higher education, such directions of technical higher education as electronics, automation of technological processes, meteorology, material science, biophysics, biotechnology systems medical prophylaxis, medical biology, and training sessions are conducted in module-credit system on the basis of the program of the master’s degree approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
Therefore, the next meeting on implementation of the joint educational program was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute. At the meeting rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, pro-rectors on Academic Affairs of the partner higher education institutions, Heads of International Relations Departments, Heads of master’s degree departments, educational-methodical, planning and finance departments and professors took part.
The rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Doctor of Medicine Professor M. Madazimov, opened the meeting and expressed his opinion on huge innovations in the field of medicine nowadays, cooperation with the higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and foreign higher education institutions as well as the joint master’s degree program.
Then, the Head of the Department of International Relations of Andijan Machine Building Institute Z. Juraev gave detailed information on the particular features of the joint master’s program, structure, training courses and special subjects.
In addition he spoke about double educational programs of South Korea’s Tegu University (Catholic University Of Daegu) and Andijan State Medical Institute
