People’s poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf is close to us with his popular and simple poems. We celebrate his birthday widely every year.
Today Muhammad Yusuf Alley welcomes lovers of poetry, literature and art. At the regional event, the khokim of the region Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov and those who spoke at the event noted that the unique works of the poet, his human qualities, poetry, reflecting the beauty of the Motherland, love, parents, spring, embody grace and richness. In particular, the team of Andijan State Medical Institute also took part in the event.
The play “Mehr Kolur” performed by artists of the regional musical and drama theater reflected a part of the poet’s life. Then the students recited poems.
To the sounds of the national anthem, the students of our institute laid wreaths at the feet of the poet and honored the memory of the poet.
After the regional event, the staff and students of our institute went to Markhamat. There they visited the grave of Muhammad Yusuf and prayed for him.
