Today, on May 15, we celebrate the International Family Day. This date was introduced by the United Nations in 1993, it was aimed at strengthening the institution of the family, which is the main link in society, preserving family values and developing a strong spiritual connection between generations.
The family is the support of human life, a school of upbringing, a source of love and the foundation of a perfect society. The development of each harmonious generation, the growth of the potential of the nation and people depends primarily on a healthy, harmonious and spiritual family. Family values, family relationships and the elderly in it are especially respected in our country.
In connection with this date, “Eastern Devotion to the Family” – a round table discussion was held today in Andijan State Medical Institute by the Department of Women’s Affairs.
The event was opened by the Institute rector’s advisor on women’s issues G. Kholmatova with an introductory speech.
– Family is a great institution for us humans that we cannot find anywhere else. And its members are the closest and most valuable people to us. We live with them, share our sorrows and joys. And preserving this dear place is an important task for each of us, – said G. Kholmatova.
A teacher who has been working at the Institute for many years, doctor of medical sciences, associate professor Khakimov Nasrullo Sobirovich, candidate of medical sciences Khakimova Ru’zikhon Abdurakhimovna, and their child, associate professor of the Department of Neurosurgery and Traumatology Maqsadbek Khakimov, were invited to the round table discussion, a meaningful conversation was held with them.
Representatives of the Khakimov family, which has a history of 48 years, shared their past lives, paths traveled, difficulties and achievements with the students. A piece of important advice was given during the conversation that is of great importance in balancing education and family as well as in raising children. Students and employees received detailed answers to their questions.
At the end, representatives of the nearly half-century-old Khakimov family were thanked for the interesting conversation and presented with souvenirs.
