An iftar dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf was held at the hostel. A battle night was also organized there.
The event was attended by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov, pro-rector on Youth affairs M. Botirov, as well as professors and students. As a guest of the event, Nazira as-Salam, wife of Muhammad Yusuf, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, poet Shuhrat Arif, poet Hurshidabonu Kochkarova, said: expressed their views.
After the iftar around the Fayzi table, the main part of the night of poetry readings began. The teams of the Faculty of Medicine “Uzbekistan”, the Department of Nursing “Lolakizgaldok”, the Faculty of Dentistry “Ulugimsan, Vatanim”, the Youth Union “Fidoyilar” competed in it. It contains information, poems and sayings about the life and work of Muhammad Yusuf. The students’ reading of the poet’s poems was especially interesting. The Uzbek team of the Medical Faculty, which won the battle, was applauded.
Around the campfire, the songs sung by popular artists of our region invited everyone to the circle. The song performed by the rector of our institute together with foreign students was especially impressive.
