Today, on November 9, in Andijan State Medical Institute, in cooperation with representatives of the social-democratic party “Adolat” of Uzbekistan, a roundtable discussion was held on the discussion of the draft law “On the protection of children from all forms of violence”.
The chairman of the regional council of the social-democratic party “Adolat” M.Madazimov, the deputy chairman M.Musayeva, the deputy of the regional council N.Toychiyeva, the head of the Andijan region branch of the Center for the Analysis of the Democratic Process F.Otakhanov, the representative of the regional Department of Internal Affairs , lieutenant colonel S. Nishonov, the team of the institute and students took part in the event.
At this meeting, the speakers discussed the types of violence against children: physical violence, mental violence, neglect, exploitation and similar issues. Speakers presented detailed information about the draft law and its content.
At the end of the meeting, the party representatives and experts answered the students’ questions in detail.
