Special attention is paid not only to the socio-economic and political spheres in our country, but also to further strengthening the bonds of friendship between different nationalities and ethnic groups living on our land, and to establishing the principles of religious tolerance.


Today, on November 25, a round table discussion was held in Andijan State Medical Institute on the topic “Uzbekistan – a country of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance”. It was attended by the chief specialist of Andijan municipal department of the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Muzrafkhonov, the first vice-rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual and Educational work of Andijan State Medical Institute S. Salohiddinov, and the advisor to the rector Kh. Zokirov.


During the event, students were informed about the reforms being carried out in the country to strengthen interethnic and inter-confessional harmony, practical manifestations of religious freedom and tolerance, and that the mutual respect, friendship and common goals of representatives of different nationalities and religions in Uzbekistan proved to be the one of the most important values of our country. They were also given information on preventing negative vices among young people, meaningful organization of their free time, rational use of social networks and adherence to the dress code in a higher educational institution.


At the end of the meeting, proposals and recommendations were put forward to further strengthen harmony and harmony and promote a culture of tolerance among young people.
