A training seminar for journalists and employees of the information service “measles and rubella vaccination company” is being held in Tashkent.
This seminar was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Health, the Republican Service of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, as well as UNICEF. It pays special attention to the issues of informing the population about the importance of vaccination against measles and rubella, objective and reliable coverage of messages transmitted through the media, newspapers and the Internet, telegram pages.
The press secretary of the Andijan State Medical Institute, Aidina Khusainova, is also taking part in it.
At the first meeting of the seminar, the head of the UNICEF Public Relations Department, Sitsi Singizi, the Deputy Head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service of the Republic Nurmat Otabekov, the Head of the Vaccination and Immunoprophylaxis Department of the service Dilorom Tursunova and others presented information on the topic.
The participants’ experience in highlighting the issues of vaccination, measles and its impact on children’s health, as well as the importance of the vaccination campaign against measles and rubella was also analyzed.
