
A qualification exam for the specialty of Preventive Medicine was held in Andijan State Medical Institute on May 29, 2025in accordance with the Decree No. PF-4958 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On further improvement of the postgraduate education system,”dated February 16, 2017, the Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017, “On measures to further improve the postgraduate education system” and the Resolution No. 220/2 of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 28, 2016, approved and registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 23, 2017, under No. 2764-1, titled “Regulations on the procedure for conducting qualification exams”.
Before the exam, the chairman of the examination commission, PhD, associate professor Z.N. Mamasoliyev explained to the attendees the rules and procedures for conducting the qualification exam and wished all candidates success.
According to the exam conditions, the question folders were opened in the presence of all witnesses and the candidates selected their examination cards.
The examination commission was chaired by associate professor Z.N. Mamasoliyev, PhD. Members of the commission included professor O. Salakhiddinov, PhD, associate professors U.Q. Akhmadaliyeva, Z.Sh. Madumarova, D.T. Sodiqova and the secretary of the commission, associate professor G.A. Mo’minova, PhD.
The examination process was conducted fully in compliance with the principles of fairness and transparency. The results were announced openly and with justification, with each result based on evidence and evaluation criteria. The process was continuously monitored using surveillance cameras and digital monitoring tools.
Eighteen candidates for the doctor of philosophy (PhD) dissertations successfully passed the examinations.
