
As you may know, K. Salohiddinov, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Andijan State Medical Institute, is currently attending the next meeting of the I2-PLEDGE project and training courses at the University of Laquila in Italy.
Today, on May 29, members of the delegation, including our institute’s vice-rector, participated in meetings with faculty and clinical staff from leading Italian universities to strengthen international cooperation in the field of medicine.
During the meetings, professors and educators from the Neurology departments discussed the early diagnosis, treatment, and most importantly, rehabilitation of patients after a stroke. Endovascular cardiologists addressed the need to treat heart pathologies using modern technologies. The necessity of expanding and modernizing undergraduate education programs by introducing advanced topics in medical rehabilitation was also discussed.
