The Law “On the Status of Pedagogues” (No. 901, 01.02.2024) was signed by the President
🔰 The law established the rights, obligations, basic guarantees of pedagogues’ activities, payment of remuneration commensurate with their work, incentives and social protection principles (https://lex.uz/docs/-6786401).
☑️ The teacher’s rights, honor, dignity and work reputation are under the protection of the state.
📁 An experienced pedagogue is attached to a person who is starting his professional career for the first time in a general secondary education organization for one academic year.
🚫 According to the law, among other things, the following are prohibited:
🔹 involving the pedagogue in work not related to his professional activity, including landscaping and agricultural work;
🔹requiring the pedagogue to form and submit reports and other information not related to his professional obligations, including reports on the employment of graduates;
🔹 imposing on the teacher the obligation to purchase goods and services, including deducting funds for goods and services from the salary without his written consent.
This Law shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
