In accordance with the tasks outlined during the video selector meeting chaired by our President on “Ensuring Employment for the Population in Neighborhoods, Increasing Income, and Overcoming Poverty,” consistent efforts are being made to assist the population of red category neighborhoods, ensure their employment, study their issues, and address them, based on the instructions of the regional governor Sh. Abdurakhmonov. In particular, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute has been assigned to support unemployed youth living in the “Tumor,” “Shor,” “Yurtobod,” and “Eshonchek” neighborhood citizen gatherings of Baliqchi district.
Research activities have been carried out to identify unemployed individuals among neighborhood youth based on this task. Today, on March 26, the rector M. Madazimov held a meeting with the participation of the youth from these neighborhoods based on the findings of this research.
During the meeting with the youth, the rector spoke about the reforms being implemented in our country and the opportunities being created for young people. Following that, the requests of the neighborhood youth were heard.
Participants in the event expressed their needs for obtaining loans to open sewing workshops, engage in livestock farming, and secure subsidies for acquiring agricultural machinery, as well as asking questions related to these topics. The responsible officials provided comprehensive answers to these inquiries. Specific plans were established to carry out systematic work to ensure employment for the youth in the neighborhoods.
