Today, on June 6, M. Madazimov, the rector of the Institute, and Dr. Hristo Dochev, the vice-rector of the Bulgarian Pleven Medical University, head of Abdominal Surgery Department held a meeting in Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of Paulina Vladova.
During the meeting the issues of cooperation between the two countries were discussed. During the discussions special attention was paid to establishing cooperation in scientific and academic fields.
It was agreed to publish articles in “Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Research” indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases belonging to Pleven Medical University. Souvenirs were exchanged as a symbol of strong cooperation.
After the meeting an excursion to the Institute’s newly completed educational building and the Institute’s clinic was organized for the guests. It introduced the possibilities of these buildings, the conditions created for students to master theoretical and practical knowledge and the processes of equipping them with modern medical and educational technologies. Foreign experts expressed confidence that under such conditions young people educated by highly educated professors will become mature specialists.
