As you may know, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan emphasized that there are all the necessary conditions to create “Andijan” brand in medicine during his last visit to our region on April 15–16, 2025. In this regard a 650-bed clinic was transferred last year to the balance of Andijan State Medical Institute, 180 billion soums were allocated for its renovation and equipment. This will allow 11,000 students to simultaneously study and complete their practical training. Initiatives to implement a two-stage evaluation system for medical personnel at the Institute’s Medical Simulation Center as well as to construct new departments including traumatology, pediatrics, surgery, and gynecology next to the clinic to form a medical cluster, were supported by the had of our state.
Today, on July 10, Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov visited five newly launched departments of the clinic in accordance with the directives of the Head of State to familiarize himself with the ongoing construction works.
These are educational and practical departments in Gynecology, Traumatology, Pediatric Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery and Pediatrics.
After reviewing the processes the Rector gave instructions to the responsible parties to approach each department with a tailored strategy and to accelerate the construction work.
Additionally, he issued directives regarding the overall work being carried out at the Institute’s clinic.
