The clinical hospital of Andijan State Medical Institute is being constructed in accordance with modern standards. Currently, construction work is progressing at a rapid pace.
Once again the rector of the Institute Madamin Madazimov visited the clinic rooms to observe closely the conditions and opportunities being created there. He paid special attention to crucial aspects of the construction process – ensuring comfortable conditions for patients, lighting, coziness, heating systems, hygienic facilities and the quality of washrooms and toilets.

“It is essential to first create the necessary conditions for patients to receive treatment in the clinic,” the rector emphasized. “Along with the responsibility of the medical staff, the comfort, cleanliness and modern features of the institution are of great importance. That is why I ask each of you to approach your work with dedication.”
Additionally, during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to our region on April 15–16, 2025, the President highlighted that all opportunities are available to establish the Andijan brand in the field of medicine. A 650-bed clinic was transferred to the balance of Andijan State Medical Institute last year as part of this effort, 180 billion soums were allocated for its renovation and equipment providing the opportunity for 11,000 students to study and undergo practical training simultaneously.
Initiatives such as introducing a two-stage medical personnel qualification assessment system in the Institute’s simulation center and transforming the clinic into a cluster by constructing additional departments – including traumatology, pediatrics, surgery and gynecology – were also supported.

In line with the directive of the head of our State excavation work has begun to lay the foundation for a new five-story building on the clinic’s territory. This new facility is planned to include educational and practical departments for Gynecology, Traumatology, Pediatric Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery and Pediatrics along with lecture halls, classrooms and departmental offices for students.
The rector gave the builders and responsible officials specific instructions, recommendations and assigned tasks to ensure successful implementation.
