Greetings, dear women, my talented female students!
I sincerely congratulate you on the unique holiday of March 8th – International Women’s Day, a celebration that is celebrated in a distinctive way, just like you, during this season of renewal and rejuvenation!
As long as you are present, our families are peaceful, our homes are prosperous, and a special good mood prevails in our workplaces. With you, we always feel love, tranquility, and purity in our hearts.
Today, women are not only fulfilling their roles as homemakers and mothers flawlessly but are also demonstrating their skills in the fields of science and education.
Our country’s leadership has been ensuring that women have the necessary resources and opportunities to become educated and knowledgeable. It is believed that among the female students in higher education institutions, we will see the emergence of prominent figures in science, politics, public life, as well as in culture, art, and sports.
I see a vivid example of this in the activities of the women at our institute. Currently, 12 female doctors of sciences and 99 female candidates of sciences are working at our institute, and their numbers are increasing year by year.
At the “Korea International Inventor Women Exhibition “KIWE” – 2024,” Associate Professor Khurmatoy Kamchiyevna Khankeldieva from the Department of Hospital Pediatrics was awarded a gold medal by the Association of Korean Women Inventors.
The head of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics, Marifat Ganiyeva, returned after participating in qualification improvement programs in “Infectious Diseases in Children and Pediatric Immunology” at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in the USA.
In the regional stage of the national competition “Woman of the Year,” Associate Professor Dilrabokhon Ergashboyeva, head of the Neonatology Department, won in the nomination for “Most Active Female Scientist of the Year.”
Students Jurayeva Sayyorakhon Tavakkaljon kizi from the Professional Education (Therapeutic Work) program received the state scholarship from the President of Uzbekistan; Madiyarova Madinabonu Avazbek kizi from the Faculty of Pediatrics received the Islam Karimov state scholarship; and Alijonova Mohbegim Akmaljon kizi from the Faculty of Pediatrics received the Ibn Sina state scholarship.
In the republican stage of the competition “Best Drawings” on the theme “Youth Says No to Corruption,” Nozima Rustamova, a third-year student from the Faculty of Therapy, proudly took second place.
