Today, on February 18, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, held a meeting with graduating students from the regions of Kurgantepa, Izboskan, and Andijan, following the video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 13 regarding the further development of the Olympic and Paralympic movement, taking mass sports to a new level, and increasing physical activity among the population. This meeting was organized based on the directives set by the regional khokim, Sh. Abdurakhmonov, on February 14. The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, deans of faculties, and officials responsible for student employment.
Initially, the rector spoke about the trust expressed by the President during the meeting, the support for every initiative, and discussed the innovations mentioned during the meeting. Information was provided about the ongoing sports clubs and various sports competitions held regularly at the Institute’s Student Dormitory, emphasizing how participation in these activities helps students spend their free time meaningfully and is beneficial for their health.
Additionally, the rector stated that he would certainly support every student who wishes to embark on entrepreneurship with a business project.
Following this, the rector got acquainted with the current employment statistics of students. He listened to information about what innovations students are working on in the field and their projects. He also instructed the officials to explore opportunities for implementing these projects.
During the discussion, students received detailed answers from the officials regarding their questions about employment.
