Today, on February 10, a “Rector and Parents Meeting” has been held at Andijan State Medical Institute. This meeting was organized in the form of an open dialogue with 250 graduating students of Therapeutic Faculty and their parents.
During the event, the rector of the Institute Madamin Madazimov talked directly with parents and provided detailed information about the work being carried out to prepare students as comprehensively qualified specialists in the future, their educational process, discipline and professional development.



The event provided information on the work being carried out within the framework of the “Step into the Future” project, including ensuring the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated on February 14, 2025 “On Additional Measures to Assist Graduates of Higher Education Institutions in Finding Employment”, establishing regional branches of the “Step into the Future” center in higher education institutions of the republic to promote self-employment and employment of graduating students, establishing entrepreneurship among graduating students and conducting an examination of projects of students with business ideas as well as providing loans to students with ready-made business ideas. The issues of directing young graduates to privileged regions ensuring their employment and attracting specialists in a narrow field to vacant positions in the regions were discussed.


Special attention was also paid to the issues of students obtaining foreign language certificates, the dual education system, youth employment and increasing student participation in international student exchange programs.


The Dean of Therapeutic Faculty D. Tulanov also spoke at the meeting and expressed his views on the topic. He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Institute and parents in the quality of education, student responsibility, meaningful organization of their free time as well as preventing crime and offenses.
At the end of the meeting, the parents of students who were active in their studies and community work were awarded certificates of appreciation by the rector of the Institute. This meeting served to strengthening the further cooperation between the educational institution and parents.
