Today, on March 24, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, held an open dialogue with students and clinical residents studying under the dual education system at the Andijan regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology.
During the meeting, extensive opportunities being created for young people, academic mobility programs, the importance of learning foreign languages, and issues related to improving the quality of education at departments were discussed.
Special emphasis was placed on the priority tasks outlined by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his meeting with youth on February 24 of this year.
The meeting also highlighted the content and significance of the Presidential Decree No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025. The importance and role of this document in the lives of young people were explained in detail. It was noted that, based on this decree, regional branches of “Steps to the Future” centers are being established at higher education institutions to ensure employment for graduates, guide them towards self-employment, and support them in starting entrepreneurial activities.
It was emphasized that in today’s world, not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills are of great importance.
Students were reminded of the necessity to integrate knowledge and practice in order to become competitive and highly qualified specialists in the modern labor market.
In this regard, the dual education system introduced at the institute was highly praised as a solid foundation and practical training ground for young people.
