MEETING OF RECTOR AND STUDENTS: EDUCATION AND FUTURE ISSUES AT THE CENTER OF DISCUSSION

Today, on March 23, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov participated in a direct conversation with students studying in various departments, he got acquainted with their opinions, suggestions and initiatives.
In particular, the meeting organized at the Oncology Department was held in the form of a sincere and open dialogue with the participation of the 5th-year students and residents of Therapeutic and International faculties. Residents and students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them, receive answers directly from the management on issues related to the educational process and their future activities.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated on February 14, 2025. The content of this document, its role and importance in the lives of young people were explained in detail. It was noted that, based on the resolution, important tasks such as providing graduates with employment, directing them to self-employment and supporting them in starting entrepreneurial activities are being implemented in higher educational institutions through the organization of regional branches of the “Step into the Future” centers.

It was also noted that today, not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills are of great importance. Students were taught the need to combine knowledge and practice in order to become competitive and qualified specialists who can find their place in the modern labor market. In this regard, it was noted that the dual education system introduced at the Institute proved to be of particular importance.

During the meeting, the educational processes conducted on the basis of dual education were also directly studied. The quality of practical training, their effectiveness and their role in consolidating students’ knowledge were analyzed, appropriate recommendations were made and made contribution into the improvement of educational process.
