A meeting was held with Takhir Rakhmatillaev, a Russian specialist, surgeon, candidate of medical sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the National Medical Research Center named after V.A. Almazov, who was invited by the Department of the 2nd Optional Surgery of Andijan State Medical Institute.
It was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute B. Abdullajonov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation F. Rasulov, Head of the Department of the 2nd Optional Surgery M. Nishonov. During the meeting, discussions were held on such issues as establishing cooperation between the two parties, involving them in organizing master classes at the institute.
After that, for two days, the Russian specialist organized master classes and practical training sessions for students, and also provided detailed information about modern, innovative methods in cardiovascular surgery. The students further consolidated their knowledge with the help of the answers to their questions.
