On April 23-24 of the current year, a seminar was held at Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization on the topic “Methods and prospects for joint diploma programs with European universities; processes for introducing joint educational programs” with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the National Office of Erasmus +, experts on higher education reforms, representatives of HEO and HERE in Kazakhstan and the university leaders. The seminar was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute, Professor A. Sh. Arzikulov, head of the Educational and Methodology Department K. Yusupov, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry D. Tulanov, professor of the Italian University of Bolonia, Francesco Girotti, and representatives of prestigious universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the seminar the following issues were considered:the requirements and conditions for the organization and implementation of bilateral Master’s Programs, as well as alternative financing methods
- Normative-legal basis for the creation and implementation of joint educational programs at the Institute;
- Criteria for the classification of educational programs;
- Forms and procedures for the implementation of joint educational programs;
- Management of joint educational programs;
The experts shared their views on the agenda items.
