It is our duty to respect our great ancestors, to preserve their literary and cultural heritage. The birthday of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is widely celebrated in our region. The alley where Babur’s statue was erected brought together all poetry lovers. Staff and students of Andijan State Medical Institute also took part in it.
Speakers spoke about the life and work of the great representative of Uzbek classical literature, statesman, poet, commander, founder of the Baburi dynasty, and acknowledged that education and morality were the main focus of his works. Ghazals and rubais were recited by poets, pupils and students.
All organizations, in particular, the staff of our institute, paid tribute to the king and poet and laid wreaths at his feet.
