When a baby first realizes the concept of the motherland in his native lullaby, when they listen the National Anthem feels a sense of loyalty and longing for the land. Today is the day when our beautiful Uzbekistan has its own anthem.
From history it is known that according to the traditions of Arabic, Persian and Uzbek classical literature, special praise was given in the main part of each major epic work. Usually, these compliments are devoted to the goverment and others at the time the work was written. It was also customary for poets to give praise to great personalities who passed before them.
The decision on the national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on December 10, 1992 at the 11th Call of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This anthem is the anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 1992 to the present time.
The word of the people’s poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov, the miracle song, composed with the music of the people’s composer of Uzbekistan Mutal Burhonov, is fond of each of us with special love for our language. The melodiousness of his words, from our lush sky to our golden valleys, from the tance and tolerance of our Uzbeks, to the bright prospect of our younger generations, is chanted.
Dear student-youth! You, with your success in studies and work, your high marks, raise our flag high internationally and proudly bear our anthem. Because you are the trust and support of the New Uzbekistan, and we believe in you!
