Today, April 9, the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Davron Sultonov, is visiting Andijan State Medical Institute.
The rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, introduced D. Sultonov to the capabilities of the new educational building. This building was constructed on a 2-hectare plot of land in the clinic area of the institute based on the decision No. PD-5154 of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2021, regarding the establishment of the “New Andijan” neighborhood and further support for entrepreneurship in Andijan region.
Currently, the building has been fully modernized. To integrate medical education with theory, a simulation center has been equipped with state-of-the-art robotic simulators. Using these simulators, students have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical application.
While familiarizing himself with the opportunities provided by the new educational building, the Deputy Minister emphasized that such conditions would serve as an important practical platform for students to become qualified specialists in their field.
Additionally, D. Sultonov participated in the international scientific-practical conference titled “Innovative Approaches to Urgent Problems in Medicine” being held at the institute, as well as in the processes of the “Andijan-2025” First International Student Olympiad. He also met with Janna Seytjanova, the rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, to exchange views on reforms being carried out in the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
