Today, on April 26, “Topical problems of stomatology. From theory to practice» scientific-practical conference on dentistry and maxillofacial surgery has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of foreign specialists.
The rector of the institute M. Madazimov, vice-rectors, dean of the Dentistry Faculty D. Tulanov and T. Abakarov, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of Dagestan State Medical University, associate professor, I. Kryajinova, deputy chairman of the department of oncological screening in dentistry of the Russian Dental Association, face-jaw surgeon and experts from several regions of our republic took part in the conference.
The conference was opened by the rector of our Institute. He spoke about the development of dentistry along with important changes in the field of medicine today. He emphasized that the expansion of international cooperation in the field creates ample opportunities for further development and exchange of experience.
After that it was the turn of lectures. The participants discussed “Prospects of using “Implant.UZ” dental implants with bioactive coating”, “Differentiated approach to improvement of the treatment-prophylaxis program at the stages of surgical treatment of patients with burns of the face and neck”, “Comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of splinting systems in the treatment of periodontitis in patients with type 2 diabetes”, “Using sorbents in the clinical course of maxillofacial periostitis”, “Optimization of surgical treatment of patients with burns and cicatricial microstomia” . At the end of the conference active participants and foreign experts were awarded with certificates.
