A seminar was held on the implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Improving the System of Admission to Higher Education Institutions and the Placement of State Orders” dated May 24, 2024, PF-81, as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 2, 2024, PQ-330, “On the First Priority Measures for Implementing the Program ‘From Poverty to Prosperity’,” to ensure proper execution and procedures. The seminar also covered the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision regarding the allocation of education grants to targeted groups, creating a competitive environment in grant distribution, and social support for youth.
During the meeting, deans of all faculties, deputy deans, heads of departments, and staff of the educational-methodological department participated. The seminar was led by the vice-rector for Academic Affairs, B. Mirzakarimov, who introduced the participants to the government decree and resolution. The head of the Educational-Methodological Department, Q. Isaqov, presented a presentation on the procedures for redistributing grant places and answered participants’ questions. Additionally, S. Asqarov, the head of the Department for Combating Corruption and Compliance Control, provided recommendations to participants on organizing this important process fairly and transparently.
