In order to fulfill the tasks given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during his visit to Karakalpakstan, 6 specialists from Andijan State Medical Institute provide specialized medical care to the population of the Kegeyli region.
Among the 74,000 people of the district, 7,200 are patients with group 3 disabilities and 8,100 are patients with group 4. In the 69 family polyclinic where the event is held, 135 citizens with 3-4 disability groups underwent a comprehensive medical examination and 6 patients were sent for treatment to the regional hospital, and 1 patient was operated on with a diagnosis of “acute abdomen”. 1 patient was scheduled for plastic surgery, one for reconstructive surgery with “Chest deformity”, 2 children for surgery. The medical examination by the staff of the Institute continues.
