On October 26-27, 2021, the Tashkent Medical Academy hosted the I International Student Olympiad on Medical Practical Skills ” Tibbiyot mohirlari ” for students of medical and pharmacological universities. Six students of Andijan State Medical Institute also took part in it.
During the two-day International Olympiad, students demonstrated their knowledge and skills in 5 areas: medical and biological sciences, therapy, reproductive health and pediatrics, anesthesiology and resuscitation and surgery, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology.
According to the decision of the members of the Olympiad jury and the Accounts Commission, students of Andijan State Medical Institute took one 1st place, one 2nd place, one 3rd place and also took 2nd place in the team standings.
The competition also included workshops and open lectures on the topics, and students were taught by experts.
