In order to increase the culture of reading among young people, on the basis of the order of Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education dated May 3, 2021, within the framework of the republican competition “Student – book lover”, the institute stage of the video competition on the topic “Ulugimsan, Vatanim” was held. The participants of the competition turned to the works of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf.
More than 30 videos were submitted to the competition. The final stage of the competition was held today. The members of the creative team watched the videos and rated them. They took into account the quality of the image, the artistic skill of the contestants.
According to the results of the competition, 1st place was taken by the 2nd year student of the Faculty of the Therapeutic faculty Izatullo Abdullajonov, 2nd place – a 4th year student of the Therapeutic and preventive direction of the Pediatric Faculty Muhammadyusuf Yusupov, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine Shokhjakhon Abdurakhmonov, 3rd place was taken by 1st year students of the Pediatric Faculty Diyorbek Obidjonov , 3rd year student of the direction “VSD” Gulshanoy Sobirova and 3rd year student Kamoliddin Inomov. The winners were awarded a cash prize in the amount of 500 thousand sums for 1st place, 400,000 sums for 2nd place, 300,000 sums for 3rd place and diplomas. It is gratifying that this competition received more than 9 videos from other universities in our region. Among them, a 4th year student of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies Iroda Mirzakarimova was awarded a special diploma and a memorable souvenir from the rector of the institute.
