The minister was welcomed with a performance of Andijan Polka dance by the Institute’s talented students. After that he was introduced to an exhibition of achievements and inventions of the Institute’s students.
A piece of the play “Dukchi Eshon” was performed by the student theater studio team. The minister particularly acknowledged the scientific activities and achievements of the students and expressed his satisfaction with their interest and talent in the arts as students of a higher medical education institution.
During the visit he closely examined the activities of the institute’s Simulation Center. He provided recommendations during the sessions where young people were engaged in training using medical simulations. He also reviewed medical literature available at the Institute’s Information Resource Center and made suggestions for further enrichment.
Subsequently, an open dialogue took place within the framework of the “Minister and Youth” meeting. Initially, a video presentation about the institute’s activities was shown. Minister Asilbek Khudayrov made a speech emphasizing how challenging and honorable the medical field is. He underlined that it was crucial for students to acquire knowledge diligently and reinforce theoretical knowledge through practice to become competent specialists.
“There is a special enthusiasm for integrating medicine in Andijan. If this enthusiasm is enriched with knowledge, the field will develop further. You, young people should first pay attention to your health, engage in sports; only then can you serve as examples to patients. Continuously reinforcing all the knowledge you receive is also of great importance,” said the minister.
Afterward, the Institute’s students received detailed answers to their questions from Minister Asilbek Khudayrov. At the end of the event, a group of talented and active students was awarded a certificate of honor from the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and monetary rewards amounting to four times the basic scholarship.
