At Andijan State Medical Institute, a roundtable discussion titled “Let’s Together Free Our Society from Corruption!” was held by the regional prosecutor M. Abdukhakimov, focusing on the fight against corruption and its prevention.
The meeting was attended by the head of the regional justice department, the rector of the institute M. Madazimov, over 300 graduating students, more than 50 professors and teachers, as well as heads of various relevant agencies such as youth affairs, employment, and healthcare departments.
It is known that on March 5 of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev assessed the efforts made to create a corruption-free environment in our country during a meeting of the National Council for Combating Corruption and outlined future tasks.
This event was another implementation of the tasks set forth.
Initially, the regional leaders familiarized themselves with an exhibition of scientific and innovative developments created by talented students.
Following this, the regional prosecutor took the floor and emphasized how harmful corruption is to today’s development and that we all bear equal responsibility for completely eradicating it.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a “Memorandum” was signed between the regional prosecutor’s office and the justice department regarding the implementation of systematic and targeted measures to provide legal education in the field of combating corruption at this institute.
