With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey in Andijan State Medical Institute active work on improvement of medical system, training of personnel, development of cooperation in health care is actively carried out in our country. In particular, a meeting was held between the head of the department of the institute, Professor Zuhriddin Salahiddinov and the assistant of the rector of prestigious Haccetepe University in Turkey, Professor Burçin ŞENER, Dean of the Faculty of Health Professor Bulent Altin.
During the visit, Professor Z. Salahiddinov was accompanied by the staff of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey. During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for further expansion and development of relations in the field of medical education, joint scientific and educational activities.
An agreement was signed at the meeting between Andijan State Medical Institute and Haccetepe University, Turkey. In particular, the sides reached a number of agreements on distance learning, academic exchange of students, training for faculty, summer internships at Turkish University hospitals and joint research projects.
It is worth noting that the cooperation between the two medical universities is on the rise. Active work has done on the exchange of students and teachers. The delegation continues its contacts in Ankara, Turkey. According to the program on October 9, Professor Z.Salahiddinov will meet with the rector of Haccetepe University, professor A. Haluk ÖZEN.
